DevOps Evangelist

Do you enjoy collaborating with and speaking with like-minded Cloud and DevOps engineers? Are you passionate about DevOps? Does the thought of speaking at events and expressing yourself to others excite you? Then this DevOps Evangelist role is for you!

In this role, you will:

  • Enhance the Stackdriver ecosystem through community contributions
  • Serve as Stackdriver’s primary spokesperson within the DevOps community

Job Requirements

  • You have an active Github profile with your work

Operations Analyst

Stackdriver is looking for an operations analyst who will be guiding us to critical decision making in sales, marketing, and product direction. The individual who’s up to the challenge for this ambitious role will spend time understanding our customer base, how we acquire new customers, and how they use our product. By using this data, we’ll be able to make actionable suggestions to improve the business.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze data including customer data, sales data, marketing data in multiple different SaaS applications including Salesforce.com, Zuora, and Kissmetrics
  • Learn and use different data analysis techniques

Senior Platform Engineer

As a Senior Platform Engineer at Stackdriver, you will play a key role in driving the architecture and implementation of the key infrastructure components of our SaaS application. You will collaborate to design and build the storage, query, and analysis layers for a service that collects and analyzes hundreds of millions of data points per day. You will work with cloud services, cutting-edge databases, and other technologies used in highly-available fault-tolerant, scale-out distributed systems to solve big data problems related to the monitoring and analysis of SaaS applications run by our customers.

Requirements:

  • You love working with a talented team of seasoned engineers.
  • You have experience with core computer science algorithms and data structures.
  • You have a systems background and several years experience building large systems, especially highly-available, fault-tolerant, scale-out distributed systems.
  • You have an understanding of and experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, HBase, or MongoDB.
  • You are proficient in one or more of the following programming languages C/C++, Java, or Python.

Additional Pluses:

  • You want to build systems that address all aspects–volume, velocity, and variety–of big data problems.

Business Development Representative

Stackdriver is searching for a Business Development Representative to join its team and help identify users for it’s new product. This individual will have the opportunity to experience a true startup environment. This talented individual will be an integral part of the team and will spend time understanding the market that Stackdriver is in and the product we’ve built. This will then help him/her identify customers who are in the target market.

In this role, you will:

  • Research companies and individuals who are running applications on Amazon Web Services

Front End Engineer

Are you passionate about building modern user interfaces? Are you excited about UX and data visualization? If so, Stackdriver is looking to hear from you!

As a Front-End Engineer at Stackdriver, you’ll be responsible for helping to construct intuitive UIs, build meaningful data visualizations, and provide an excellent user experience in our SaaS product.
